Philippine Prudential Life Insurance Credited Back My Money After Less Than a Month

Got My Money Back from  Philippine Prudential Life Insurance After 25 Days

What a pleasant surprise! After less than a month, the Philippine Prudential Life Insurance credited or charged back my money on my debit card! It's a good news for people who have been duped by their poor internet marketing strategies and hoodwinked to sign up for their endowment (savings + life insurance) policy.

How to Get Your Money Back from the PPLIC

Below are the easy and simple steps that that you too can do so they could swiftly return my money to my debit card.

    1. Write a Cancellation Letter stating my reason that I am no longer interested with their program. You can opt to tell them that you can no longer afford the monthly deductions or contributions or whatever it's called.

    2. Submitted  it to the branch that lured you, or where you got your policy. In my case, I got my policy from Cebu and bravely submitted it to their Iloilo branch. I was very firm with my decision as they would most likely try to convince you not to cancel. Some may even try to scare you that you can no longer get the full refund but trust me, it was stated in their 11th policy rules that you can cancel it within 15 days that you got the policy.

    3. Have them receive or sign your letter, get a copy of it. (Just to have a proof that they received it)

    4. Request a SOA (Statement of Account) with the status: Cancelled upon inception (This is very important so would no longer be authorized to deduct certain amount of money from you bank account)

    5. File a dispute or something like that to your credit card company so they will not charge you anymore. (If you paid them through your credit card)

For those who are outside the country, you can authorize your relatives or someone who can trust (if you can hire a lawyer, the better) to act on your behalf and follow the steps that I have given.

If you need to call their call center, below is their latest number. Some people I know complained about them not picking up with their old number, I guess they changed it since bazillion of people have been complaining so they must have been ticked a tad.

    Lesson Learned from this Experience

You cannot just decide on your retirement, savings or insurance in just a matter of minutes. It takes a careful planning and consideration. Perhaps the greatest thing that I have learned is simply to ignore strangers as they often could only do you harm instead of expect them to bless your life. It's funny that I have read a joke before which says,

"When someone's selling you an insurance, run away!"

Should you have any questions, feel free to leave your comments below or connect with me on Facebook.

Do you find the post informative, fun and helpful? Then what about buying me a drink?

Are you the same crablink who "used" to work with the company and trying to convince everyone that it's for our future when our monies could be truly safe and worth investing in other reputable companies? Can't you just understand that security is very important for us and being investors, we have the choice (not just within 45 minutes!!!) to plan where we want our monies should be invested. If you plan to remain with your company, so be it, but you CANNOT hold it against us if we're unsatisfied. You have no RIGHT to tell us what to do because after all, you're just of those vultures trying to take away our hard earned monies. C'mon, get a life! For real, get a job that doesn't require fooling other people.

I went to SM Fairview with my sister and my niece when ladies approached me to join their promo and 45mins. to introduce their company. as the conversation i made a wrong decision too as like you before September 26, 2010.Oct 3,2010 i've been in thier office where as i attended and tell my reason to discontinue my contract. As the Sales Manager having conversation he always oppossing with my decision to stop and I want money back.He says somethin and encouraging you again not to stop and He scared me too that the contract would not be broke and comparing it a thins that if you've bought it cannot no longer bring it back.but were talking about my Money. It is Investing saving only and I have a rigth to decisioning no matter what happen.Sa takot ko nagbigay muna me decsion e-continue and try to have person to who can give a advice. until I came up a decision to Discontinue as the enternet says it is my previlleges and have right to stop the decision i made.Oct. 10, 2010 i realized to discontinue my policy contract and made a cancellation letter and send it to their Main Office. 2nd Step is to cnacell my Auto Debit form that I signed a month;y deducting to my credit card.

I find "When someone's selling you an insurance, run away!"statement is absurd.

I am a financial planner here and in the U.S. and the very first financial product that one should have is a life insurance. You can quote Suze Orman and other financial advisor about this. Even the high and mighty Robert Kiyosaki advises the on his Game of Money that one should posses a life insurance.

For me, if one really want to get a life insurance you need to check the stability of the company where you are entrusting you money with. It's like investing in the stock market, you purchase security of the company you trust not to closed down after you purchase it. Right.

It's just a simple common sense!

And you as a writer, knows for a fact that other people will read your blog and you will be able to
influenced them, so, you need to be responsible in what you write.

Lastly, I just want to ask you, if are aware that life insurance company are the one responsible of the market movement here in Manila? Insurance company are the biggest investor in PSE? Without us, PSE will not prosper today.

    Think before you write.

    See you around,

Hi, good day1 i just came across the net searching for a resolution since my Mom got victimized by these people called Phil. Prudential Insurance. The said insurance company charged 70,000 + from her credit card. She complained it to their office (Cagayan de Oro City) but she was told that she can get the refund after 15 years. Now, my question is, can she still get her money back? her credit card company keeps on calling her everyday and asking her to pay. I am very concern since she don't have enough income to pay for the amount. Please enlighten us since we don't know what to do. Any advise would be much appreciated.

same here soo disappointed with what i did... on that same day i want to go back to their office cuz it keeps on bothering me if i really did the right thing.... to convince me that there's nothing to worry about, i check on the reviews of their company and this is what i found out. All the blogs and talking about cancellation of their policy... and because of this bad reviews i think i will cancel mine also asap... that would give me a peace of mind... lesson learned.... thank you bloggers....

Thanks for this informative blog. I won't say that I got duped into getting a plan, kasi they explained everything and I signed. But after all was said and done, I realized a medyo tagilid nga ang deal. I went back and cancelled my plan immediately. I checked out your blog and the list of things to do to cancel - nagawa naman lahat. I'm hoping na makuha ko yung initial deposit ko right away. I won't rest easy until then. Thanks anyhow for this informative post.
